Patti "PJ" Jobe Brinson passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday, October 12. Born August 30, 1953 in Tulsa, OK, she is the daughter of Marlene "Micky" Holland and the late Edgar L. "Buck" Jobe and the step-daughter of Jack Holland. Patti was a career woman who was successfull at everything she turned her hand to, lastly as a Liz Claibourne specialist at Burdines in Melbourne. Patti was a long-time resident of Titusville and was a Class of 1971 graduate of Titusville High School.

Patti was fortunate to have visted many places in the world. She enjoyed meeting the people of each country she visted and experiencing their cultures. She was an avid reader who loved poety and whose favorite author was Taylor Caldwell.

Patti was taken from us too soon after enduring a long illness. Patti's special gift to us all was her love and acceptance of everyone just as they are. PJ had many friends and made time to listen to them all. She had an inner strength that made her a beacon to those who were also suffering. She could make the best of any situation and laugh about her illness while comforting others during the difficult times.

She was a loving daughter, a loving sister and friend to all she touched. She is preceded in death by her brother Jerry and her Father Buck. She is survived by her her husband David Brinson and his family in Missouri, her Mother and Step-father Marlene and Jack Holland, her sisters Judy Bloodworth, Tammy LaVallee, and Sherry Kay Orman, her step-brothers Jerry and Dale Holland, her step-sisters Kathy Spruill and Jackie Holland. She is survided by ten nephews and nieces and six grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Patti also leaves behind a lifetime of friends who will miss her greatly and remember her always.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Newcomer Family Funeral home of Titusville at 7PM.
