Our dearly loved Don enjoyed a blessed life that took him on adventures both far and near.
Don traveled the world while proudly serving in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Homestead, Florida he met his wife Phyllis.
Following his USAF career, Don followed in his father's footsteps working for Wenger Manufacturing in Sabetha, KS. After moving back to Florida, he worked as an electrician on payloads for the Space Shuttle at the Kennedy Space Center for over 20 years.
Don loved the outdoors! He enjoyed scuba diving, sailing, outdoor photography, and teaching his daughters about nature.
Don is survived by daughters, Debbie (Trevor) Grimm and Kristie Hall; three grandchildren, Makayla and Audrey Hall, and Reagan Grimm; brother, Darrel (Paulette) Grollmes; and many beloved family members.
Dad and Mom celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary, together in Heaven, on February 5th.
The family invites you to celebrate his life. Visitation is Friday, February 14th at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Emmaus Hall, 10 am, 2309 Holder Rd. Mims, FL. A Mass of Catholic Burial will follow at 11 am with Fr. Andrew Wojtan officiating.
Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, FL. Afterward, a catered lunch will be at Holy Spirit Emmaus Hall at 1 pm.
