Tangela Denise Ince, 47, of Orlando, Florida passed away on September 3, 2019 after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer. She was born on January 23, 1972 in Neptune, New Jersey to Willie and Margaret Martin, Sr.

Tangela was born and raised in New Jersey where she raised her two oldest children, Shameka and Anthony, as a single mother. She worked various jobs to make ends meet and be able to provide for her children. She met her husband, Thomas Ince, while working as an Administrative Assistant for a consulting company in New Jersey. They married in 2004 and that same year moved to Florida, where they would welcome two beautiful boys, Cayden and Ryan, into their lives.

Tangela will be remembered most for her love of helping others as she would rather help people with their burdens and hardships than to have them worry about hers. She possessed a quiet strength, allowing her to stay positive and hold her head high with a bright smile on her face rather than let her prognosis affect her on the outside.

She was strong, determined, and fiercely independent. She was the rock of her family, always there to support them and keep them strong. We will always remember her as a selfless, warmhearted wife and mother who always took care of her family, even when times were tough. She was a dedicated mother who treasured all of her children. They are her greatest accomplishments.

Tangela was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Louise Martin; and her sister, Wilhelmina Martin.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ince; her children, Shameka Martin, Anthony Martin, Cayden Ince, and Ryan Ince; her father, Willie Martin Sr.; and her brothers, Willie Martin Jr. and Eddie Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, the Ince family has asked that donations in Tangela's name be made to The Susan G. Koman Foundation.

I first met Tangela when she interviewed me for my position at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. I didn't get a chance to work with her much, but looking back she was really an inspirational person. I had no idea that she was going through such a difficult battle. The fact that she was able to come to work every day and hide her pain so well shows just how strong Tangela was. She was courageous, an inspiration, and a reminder to those she touched to be kind to everyone... you never know what they are going through.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to Tangela's family and friends. She was a beautiful soul, and will be missed by many.

I first met Tangela while she was being paraded around the MVW corporate office as the newest member of the corporate HR team. She had such a bright smile and warm presence. I had an immediate connection with Tangela and we quickly developed a great relationship. She was one of the HR business partners that I had the pleasure of working with. Unfortunately, we only had the opportunity to work together for a few months before I transitioned into a new company, however, she has left an everlasting mark on my life. We both shared the love of fashion bags and I truly loved seeing her light up when she talked about her family and her children. Those are the memories she cherished and always shared with her colleagues. I extend prayers and my condolences to the Ince family. Tangela was an incredible individual and her legacy of being kind, loving, and warm will live on.

I didn't know Tangela in person, but communicated with her via email while she provided HR support to our department. She was always very polite and thorough with her responses. I am very sorry if I ever, unwillingly, put any pressure on her while she was working remotely - I didn't know what she was going through.
