Carolyn Mae (Smith) Guy, 88, of Titusville, FL passed quietly at her home into the arms of her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2019 with her youngest daughter, Shirley, holding her hand. Carolyn was born in Toledo, OH on June 13, 1931, the first of two daughters to Everett S. and Mildred K. Smith.

Carolyn attended Nathan Hale Elementary School and Thomas A. DeVilbiss High School, the class of 1949. She was raised in and a member of The Toledo Gospel Tabernacle of the Christian and Missionary Alliance where she met her late husband, Ralph D. Guy. Their marriage bore six children whom Carolyn and Ralph raised at the Tabernacle providing a strong Christian home.

She also helped in Sunday School with many children, sharing her love of God. Her homemaking skills, decorating and organizational skills were exceptional. Carolyn was an expert seamstress, providing all her own clothing, her four daughters clothing, and even brought extra income to the family by sewing for others. Her ability to create nourishing meals for eight people, everyday, was remarkable. Carolyn and Ralph moved to Titusville, FL in 1975. Throughout the years, she enjoyed attending her high school reunions in Toledo and connecting with old friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Carolyn was predeceased by her son, David E. Guy, and niece, Lois J. Collins. Carolyn leaves her son: Gregory A. (Sandra) Guy; daughters: Susan Guy Herman, Barbara Guy (David) Bryan, Brenda Guy (Richard) Rawle, and Shirley Guy Covert; grandchildren: Melanie (James) Brantley, Bethany Heilman, Stephanie Herman, Jeremy (Brandy) Guy, Ian (Shea) Guy, Kevin (Shannon) Krut, Adam (Jennipher-Leigh) Speigner, Kara Norderum, James (Briana) Hullinger, and Susan Covert; twelve great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters and two great-great grandsons. She is also survived by a sister: Charlotte A. Collins of Walbridge, OH; four nieces, three nephews and many beloved cousins.

Arrangements by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions - Titusville Chapel. Services are Private with Rev. David W. Bryan officiating.
