Virginia Torres, age 76, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019. She was the widow of Jose Alfredo Torres Bayon.
Virginia, a very devout Catholic, was dedicated to praying the rosary on behalf of others in need. Known as a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and godmother who loved her family dearly; she was a beautiful woman of integrity who felt the weight of the world’s suffering while never losing her faith. We will always remember her sweet smile, as she waved goodbye at us from her window!
Virginia was born on May 12, 1943 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Luis Evaristo Lebron and Herminia Rivera.
Virginia is survived by her two daughters, Marisol Torres-Hernandez, and Maria Ansoategui and her husband, John; her sister, Gladys Lebron; three grandchildren, Jason Jose Hernandez and his wife, Rachel, Crystal Marie Taylor and her husband, Joe, and Elisabeth Maria Ansoategui; and two great-grandchildren, Serena Blue Taylor, and Elara Jo Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Ana Luisa Lebron.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11:30 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 375 Sunset Dr N, Casselberry, FL 32707.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822.
Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL.
