Bernardine Ann LeDuc, age 88, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019.

On April 2, 1930 Bernardine “Bunny” (Hammer) LeDuc was born to Bernard "Ben" and Adela "Della" (Arnold) Hammer in Beaver Dam Wisconsin where she grew up with her younger brother Fr. Charles R. Hammer. After graduating high school Bunny continued her education at the Oshkosh State Teachers College were she was a member of the Newman Club, the Girls Glee Club, and the Phoenix Sorority where she served as the secretary and historian for the sorority. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in 1953 and then went on to teach Elementary School for Manitowoc Public Schools in Wisconsin.

In 1960 she married Edward “Ed” J. LeDuc who she remained married to for the next fifty-four years until his death in 2014. Shortly after the wedding the couple moved to Florida were they arrived in time to experience Hurricane Donna. In 1967 while living in Bradenton Florida the couple adopted their daughter Christine “Christy” LeDuc followed by the adoption of their son Paul LeDuc in 1970. On June 1, 1971 Bunny and Ed closed on their new home in Orlando FLorida, which would be their home for the rest of their lives.

In Orlando Bunny spent her time enriching and teaching not only her children but others as well by being a leader in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and the Parent Teacher Association. Also a big supporter of her children sporting activities of swimming and baseball she never missed an event to cheer her children on. She loved fishing, snorkeling, and shrimping and was always the best cook of seafood that she caught.

Bunny LeDuc is survived by her daughter Christine LeDuc of Winter Garden, FL; her son Paul LeDuc of Orlando, FL; her grandson Sabastain LeDuc of Orlando, FL; and her great grandson Noah LeDuc of Orlando, FL.

Memorial Mass is Saturday April 13, 2019 starting at 11am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4545 Anderson Road, Orlando, FL.

Arrangements are by the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (East Orlando Chapel).
