Mary Magdaline Acosta, 98, formally of Santa Maria, CA, passed away of natural causes in Titusville, FL where she had lived for the past 14 years.

Preceeded in Death by her parents: Julian & Fransisca Regelado Acosta; six brothers: Henry, Arthur, Julian, Robert, Albert and Armond Acosta; two sisters: Martha Martinex, Elvira Lucero; son: Timothy Bargas; and granddaughter: Christina Barga; she is survived by three sons: John Bargas of Alahambra, CA, Armond (Petre) Bargas of Costa Mesa, CA, Julian (Jovonni) Acosta of Titusville, FL; ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of the American GI Forum and enjoyed her volunteer work with many clubs and organizations. She worked for many years in retail at Benos, Prindles & Armands Mens Warehouse. She also did some clerical work for the City of Santa Maria and was a greeter at the Taco Bell to fill her time. She so enjoyed going to all the dances and taking trips with the Senior Center. When at home she loved watching Ice Skating and enjoyed making tamales (seasonal).

Following cremation, her cremated body will be placed with her parents in Santa Maria, CA, following a private celebration of her life. For friends who wish the family suggests memorial donations in her memory to Hospice of St Francis, 1250 Grumman Place, Titusville, FL 32780.
