Nancy Powell of Florida was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 30th.

She and her husband Jack were both retired and enjoyed traveling together with close friends. Nancy was a nurse for The James Cancer Hospital at OSU in Columbus, Ohio for many years. She was an active board member at Willow Lakes Golf and RV Resort for the past six years. She and Jack regularly attended services at Temple Baptist Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by: her parents Ruben and Exie Justice, sister Janice Tomason, infant daughter, Nancy Susan Adkins and pet Abigale. She is survived by: her husband Jack, daughter Annette Stone, sons, Timothy/Beverly Adkins and Kyle/Diane Powell, sisters Loretta/Henry Whitmore and Linda Whitmore and brothers Alva/Lenice Justice and Bob/Jay Justice. Nancy is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and her constant companion and pet Samantha.

The most important things in Nancy’s life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved them all dearly and did her best to be there for all of them.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in Nancy’s honor at Temple Baptist Church, 1400 N. Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL 32796 on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon immediately following. The service will be officiated by Pastor Tom Porter. Private interment will be at Cape Canaveral Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
