Gwynn Marshall Reel, Sr., age 91, of Longwood, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020.

Gwynn Reel was born in Sanford, Florida where he graduated from high school in 1947. He received a Bachelor of Science in physics from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science in physics from the University of Florida. Mr. Reel then spent the rest of his career as an engineer in the defense industry including over 30 years with Lockheed Martin Corporation.

Although he was an avid salt-water fisherman and boater, he spent much of his spare time devoted to his family and leading them into a deeper faith in Jesus Christ. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Orlando.

He is survived by son, Gwynn M. Reel, Jr.; daughter, Karen C. Woolsey; four grandchildren; and numerous friends.
