Sharon Ann McInnis Life story video
Sharon Ann McInnis, born February 16, 1952, in Detroit, MI. She later moved to Orlando, FL with her husband, where she lived until the day she passed away, on Thursday, January 10, 2019.

She is survived by Husband, Christopher Paul Hyvarinen. She is also survived by her estranged father, two sisters, and one daughter and two sons.

Sharon was known for her straightforward manner, sassy attitude, firm convictions, and her love of all things good in life. In conversations, she never beat around the bush, preferring to barrel in head-first, and smack people over the head with her sound advice. She would never suffer the mistreatment or ignorance of others. She always had a sharp cunning wit, that could leave people in stitches. Any small kindness, playful pet, beautiful vista, or heart-warming story could put an easy smile on her face and bring joyful tears to her eyes.

Sharon lived a rich and varied life. She was a hairdresser, a nursing assistant, taught classes on arts and crafts, ran a chat room, co-owned a sign business, volunteered for the local Democratic party, she read tarot cards, gave those in need spiritual guidance, and occasionally spoke with spirit and dabbled in reiki. She loved crime dramas, home improvement, keeping up with politics, any comedian with a sass to match her own, reality tv, and secretly loved gore, sci-fi, and fantasy. She enjoyed making her own cards, doing small home-improvement projects, talking with friends, debating politics, and was rumored to have even played Dungeons & Dragons from time-to-time. She tried her best to always keep a positive outlook and a deep faith in God, to help others when she could, and show them that they mattered and were loved.

When she left her former life behind, she built a new life with her husband. She sought to walk her spiritual journey with him, and in their 19 years together, she was opened up to all that God had to offer, realized her true self, and her own self-worth, and just what it means to truly love someone.

Sharon did not want anyone to mourn her passing, but to know that she found what she needed in life and enjoyed it without compromise. She saw death as just a new phase in a person’s life. In heaven, she intends to dance with her angels, drink from her chocolate waterfall, kick the butts of those that passed before her, and to “Get This Party Started!”

Visitation is Saturday January 19, 2019 from 1pm to 4pm with funeral service at 4pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (East Orlando Chapel).
