Eunice Canada Durio 85, of Christmas, passed away November 9, 2017 at her daughters home surrounded by family.

She was a registered 5th generation Florida pioneer, born May 21, 1932 in Christmas, Florida, the daughter of Arch and Edna (Eubank) Canada.

Eunice enjoyed bingo; Skip Bo card games; weaving cabbage palms; metal detecting and meteorite hunting; fishing and trapping turtles; skinning rattlesnakes to make belts and hatbands and quilting. She was proud of her Native American heritage and loved attending Pow Wow's.

Eunice is survived by her daughters, Nancy L. (Larry) Shiver of Monticello, FL, Glenna M. (Tom) Lau of Titusville, FL, son, Lynn M. Eaton of Christmas, FL; sisters, Bernice Schutt of Osteen, FL, Mildred "Millie" Canada of Mims, FL, Lou Ann (Tommy) Edwards of Mims, FL, brothers, Sharon "Bo" (Diane) Canada of Scottsmoor, FL, Calvin (Libby) Canada of Mims, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Arch Canada, sons, Alvin Eaton, Wayne Eaton and Bruce Eaton, brothers, Leslie Canada and Crete Canada, sisters, Pearl Cochran and Barbara Canada.
