James A. McKay , 59, of Titusville, Florida passed away on October 4, 2014. Jim was a retired Lieutenant from the Cocoa Police Department. He also served as a police officer in the communities of Coshocton, OH and Balharbour, Miami.

Jim proudly served his country as a United States Marine. Jim was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and he will be greatly missed by family, friends and fellow officers who have always had his back.

He is survived by his wife Lynn McKay; daughters, Tracy Leigh, Stephanie Escue and Mary Finley; step-sons, Michael Aaberg, Jeffery Jenkins, Joe Jenkins and Arnold Salgado; 15 grandchildren; 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Visitation will be from 11AM to 12PM on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (2400 South Washington Avenue, Titusville). A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 12PM.
