William Richard McGrane, age 80 of Titusville, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at Edward M. Poe Care Center. He was born April 26, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Agnes Mullins-McGrane.

William honorably served in the U.S. Army and later led a successful career as a civil servant, retiring from the post office. He retired to Brevard County, FL coming from Kings County, NY.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Bridget McGrane.

Survived by his beloved wife, Margaret; daughter, Dawn M. Siptroth (John); six sons, John J. McGrane Sr. (Donna), William McGrane Jr. (Ann), Kevin McGrane (Valerie), Patty McGrane, Frederick McGrane and Daniel McGrane (Beth); sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 5PM to 7PM on Thursday, March 30th at Newcomer Funeral Home in Titusville with funeral services to follow at 11:30AM on Friday, March 31st at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL at a later date.
