Marguerite Nora "Peggy" Keith

Marguerite “Peggy” Nora Keith of Port St Johns, passed away peacefully at home on April 25th 2016. Peggy was born on December 23rd, 1958 in Germany, and is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jeffery Keith. Peggy was a wonderful wife, a caring sister to 9 siblings and an amazing aunt to 25 nieces and nephews. She graduated from Gresham High School in Oregon in 1977. She grew up traveling the world as an Air Force Brat.

Peggy was an amazing and compassionate person to everyone she met. She was always willing to welcome someone into her world. Always warm-hearted. Her family was always the most important thing to her, whenever they needed advice, a friend or even a hug. No matter what life threw at her she always stayed positive. She was always involved with her nieces and nephews lives and wanted to help them with whatever she could. Peggy was always a little “crazy,” as her family would say, but would always have your back whenever it was needed. The “craziness” just added to her carefree, fun, loving personality. She was always willing to give time to others by volunteering her time and effort to various groups like Semper Fidelis and to schools. She fought hard to continue to be here with her husband and family but she is no longer fighting the pain and sickness, she has gone home to her mother, her father and her sister.

In the end, she would want us to remember her smiling face, warm hugs and life that she helped create for her family. She will live on through her loving husband, her siblings and each and every one of her nieces and nephews, through all the lives that she has touched and through some that didn’t get to spend much time with her. Peggy, would want us to celebrate the good times, the life that we live today and to do that we need to live on in a way that would make her proud. We should remember that she is in a peaceful serenity and is all of our guardian angel.

We love you Peggy.
