Kenneth Earl Wilson

1948 - 2015
Kenneth Earl Wilson of Titusville, Florida passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, August 12, 2015, he was 67 years old. He is survived by his wife Linda, his two sons Duaine and Bobby, two grandsons and a great granddaughter. He was born in Waycross, Georgia on May 7, 1948, graduated from Ribault High School in Jacksonville, Florida, married his sweetheart Linda and went on to join the United States Air Force November 17, 1967. He was a veteran of Vietnam early on in his career and after nearly 21 years retired as a Tech Sergeant in 1988. After military retirement the family moved to Chatsworth, Georgia where Ken, with his wife and family spent many years enjoying his passion for hunting and fishing. Ken devoted 15 years to the city utility company in Dalton, Georgia where he completed his second retirement and then decided it was time to return to Florida and fulfill his passion for fishing.

Ken was a man of rock solid integrity, loyalty and hard work throughout his life and was known for speaking his mind when something needed to be said. He was a stern man, yet caring and compassionate in his own creative ways. He was loved absolutely by his family, and his dedication, his wild sense of humor, his honesty and his “ways” were a testament to the love he gave back. Kens love was not often expressed, but it was undoubtedly lived. His life will be cherished and celebrated by his family and those who knew him long beyond the day he chose to leave.
