Born March 12th 1981 in Cocoa Beach, FL to father Gary and mother Patricia. Sean spent his youth playing organized basketball at the church and community leagues of Central Florida. His love of sports is what essentially acted as the structure that formed the rest of this life. Through his love of sports he found life-long best friends, enjoyed many grueling games against his little brother, took vacations to watch games, and even spent many hours collecting autographs of all his favorite players. Sean possessed all the qualities that you would want in a man; he was genuine, he was sensitive, he absolutely hated to lose, he cared about everyone deep into his core, he was exceptionally intelligent, and he was loyal to all those around him. Everyone seemed to know Sean and each person that interacted with him found a different quality that they loved about him. Sean had a childlike pleasantness about him that made his energy and fun contagious to be around. You would be hard pressed to find a person that didn’t have a blast with him. Although we knew him in many ways we all knew it was Sean because of his set look for all occasions. He was notorious for wearing a clean, fitted New York Yankees hat; slightly tilted off center on his head with a slight grin on his face. We all knew Sean as a private person, he kept things close to his heart, but it was this quality that made you really listen to Sean when he spoke because you knew those opportunities to hear what Sean was truly thinking were few and far between. Each person has shared something different and unique with him, whether it be his love for music, autograph collecting, basketball, the Yankees, clothing, his good-time attitude, whatever it may be you knew you were in the presence of someone that was fully engaged and excited about being there. That is the legacy that we can all take away from the life of Sean Lewis, we should enjoy every moment of our opportunities while we have them because you never know what tomorrow might bring. Live in the moment, love to your core, and enjoy each day like your last.

“I am the resurrection, and the life: …”
