William Ryan Heath, 82, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Sanford, FL. Ryan was born on July 24, 1935 in Orlando, FL to parents William Boyd Heath and Jean Heath.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Evans (Charles), and their children, Alec and Marissa Evans; daughter, Marcy Pierson (Todd), and their children, Carly, Clinton, and Connor Pierson; son, Mark Heath; and son, Scott Heath (Jennifer); niece, Angela Stephens (Mike) and their children Drew, Todd (Melissa) and Chad; nephew; Harvey Blair Huggins III (Roberta). He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Heath, and sister, Judy Heath Spencer.

Ryan was married to Vivian for over 40 years. Memories with the two of them are too numerous to count. Gator games, the Firecracker 400 in Daytona, houseboat trips on the St. Johns river, skiing and fishing on Lake Conway and Lake Harney, playing card games and overnight staycations at Grandpas house to name a few. Ryan was an avid Gator, fisherman, reader, golfer and a family man.

Ryan grew up in the Orlando and Melbourne area and graduated from Melbourne High School in 1953. After high school he attended the University of Florida and joined the Fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. Ryan worked in his early years for Radiation Incorporated and the Harris Corporation. He worked for Martin Marietta in the 70’s as a senior contract administrator. Ryan eventually went into real estate and sold homes all over the Orlando area. In later years, he enjoyed selling cars and boats, two things he knew a lot about.

Ryan loved being outdoors, whether walking in the woods with his father or duck hunting, it is where he wanted to be. Ryan would drop everything to go fishing or boating. His fish tales were the best! Any time his family or their friends wanted to go skiing, fishing, boating, a ride on his motorcycle or classic Mustang convertible, he was more than happy to oblige. Yes, Ryan Heath was the fun dad!

Ryan had a freindly and outgoing personality. He could turn the charm on any time and had a great sense of humor. He loved dogs, fiddling with his lures and working in his yard. Ryan said the good Lord was good to him. He was right!
