Roger A. Keaton, 73,
Of Daniels passed away suddenly, January 10, 2018, at his winter home in Titusville, Florida.
Born May 8, 1944, at Hotchiss, WV. He was the son of the late Henry and Eunice Cragett.

Roger graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1962; WV State College in 1981 with a Regents Degree; and Marshall University in 1985 with a Masters Degree in Science.

Roger began his career with the West Virginia State Police in 1969.
He served in detachments all over the state before retiring out of Princeton in 1994, with 25 years of service.
His fellow troopers lovingly referred to him as “Sergeant Sunshine.”
Roger continued serving others working as a Bailiff, a United States Marshall and was the owner of Keaton Interior Trim where he shared his love of custom wood products.

Roger’s passion was golf. He obtained his biggest golf accomplishment in 2014 as the WV Senior Series Gold Title Champion.
The WV Golf Association used this quote by Paul Bryant to describe Roger: “Show class, have pride and display character, If you do, winning takes care of itself.”
This is a true description of Roger Keaton the golfer and Roger Keaton the man. If Roger wasn’t on the golf course, he was most likely sitting in a set of bleachers.

His greatest love was cheering on his grandchildren thru sports and life in general. He was their biggest fan!

Those left to cherish his memory are:
His loving wife of 43 years, Janice (Brewer) Keaton
Daughter, Lanette Huffman and husband Brian of Beaver
Grandchildren: Josh, Adam and Jacob Weeks
Daughter, Heather Radford and husband Shawn of Beaver
