Marc Massar, late of Oviedo, passed away on October 12, 2017, from complications after heart surgery. Marc was born in Newark, New Jersey to Leon and Daisy Massar. He was a graduate of Asbury Park High School, and Temple University having earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Marc moved to Florida in 1970 and started his life-long career as a real estate developer. He loved Nature and all creatures, big and small, and was an activist for animal rights and environmental protection.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sophie, his daughter, Danya, granddaughters Kaella and Talya, and his brother, Shep. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Brooke, and his parents, Leon and Daisy.

There will be a Celebration of Life Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole Chapel, Longwood, Florida, and a gathering at Danya’s home following the Celebration.
